The Art Student’s Leauge of New York instructor Robert Cenedella decided it was time for a renegade publication to showcase the work of his many diverse students.
We decided on an approach inspired by the work of German Dada movement of the 1930’s, in particular the late, great George Grosz, Mr. Cenedella’s mentor.

Our primary goal was to remove the cutesy playfulness associated with the average pet store. We achieved this by creating a crest-like logo with a sophisticated sense of royalty,
based around an image of the client’s previous beloved dog, Jack. The work included the design of retail tags, window decal, awning, and stationery.
